Barcelona hosts this international gallerist meeting, which aims to discuss and explore the issues that concern and affect gallery practices today. Through panel discussions, case studies and presentations, TALKING GALLERIES attempts to respond in a dynamic way to a profession that questions how to adapt to a reality marked by the economic crisis, by changing technology environment and fluctuating values market.
Speakers include: Georgina Adam, Victor Gisler, Ainhoa Grandes, Sylvain Levy, Clare McAndrew, Daniel McLean, Kamel Mennour, Claes Nordenhake, Alain Servais and Jocelyn Wolff, amongst others. Noah Horowitz, of The Armory Show, will deliver a lecture on the current state and shifting values of today’s art system.
